• Service providers who help us operate our business (payment processors, scheduling software)

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Mobile Apps

Our Maverick Mechanical apps for Android and iPhone are used by our customers (to see service history, estimates and invoices and to request service) and by our employees (to run jobs). In the apps we collect:

• Account information: your name, email address and phone number, and your sign-in (email and password, or Google or Apple sign-in).
• Service records: service addresses, equipment details, jobs, estimates, invoices, payment records, signatures and messages you exchange with our office.
• Photos: photos our technicians take with the camera on a job (for example of your equipment or its data plate). The camera is only used when someone taps to take a photo or scan.
• Employee records: for our staff, time clock entries and the jobs they work.
• Device and usage data: a notification token so we can send app notifications you can turn off at any time, and app usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase (which screens are opened). The apps do not use your advertising ID, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.

The apps do not collect your location, contacts or files. Card payments are taken on our payment processor's secure page; the apps never see or store your card number. Data is encrypted in transit. We use service providers to run the apps (hosting and database, Google Firebase for notifications and app analytics, and our payment processor); they process data for us and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
